BY Team Aakash Byju's

The complete length of a semicircle's boundary is defined as its perimeter, also known as the circumference of a semicircle.

What is the Perimeter of a Semicircle?

It's computed by multiplying the diameter by half of the original circle's circumference.

The unit of the perimeter of a circle is expressed in linear units like "inches", "feet", "meters","centimeters" etc.

- A semicircle's circumference is half that of a circle's circumference.  - It's the circumference of the arc that makes a semicircle.  - It does not mention the diameter's length.

Circumference of circle = 2πr.

P = Half of Circumference of the original circle + Length of a Diameter.

The perimeter of a semicircle is given as
