Composition of Functions It is a process of combining two functions into a single function is known as function composition.

f (g(x)) or (fog)(x)  denotes the combination of functions f(x) and g(x), with g(x) operating first.

- In f (g(x)), g(x) is the    input of f(x). - In g (f(x)), f(x) is the    input of g(x).

To find f (g(x)) (also known as "f of g of x"), we must first find g(x) and then substitute the result in f(x).

Symbol of Composition of Functions The symbol for the function composition is ‘o’. - (f ∘ g)(x) = f(g(x)) and is read as "f of g of x". The inner function is g, while the outer function is f.

Let f: A -> B and g: C -> D, then the composite function,  gof: A->D is defined by gof(x)=g[f(x)], provided the range(f) Domain(g)
