JEE Mains 2022 Paper 1: Total Marks and Number of Questions

Paper 1 consists of a total of 90 MCQs that carry 300 marks.

The 90 questions are further divided into three parts of 30 questions each for Physics, Chemistry and Maths.

Each part consists of Section A of 20 MCQs and Section B of 10 numerical value questions.

Out of the 10 questions in Section B, the JEE Mains 2022 candidate has to attempt just five questions.

For every correct answer 4 marks will be awarded and for an incorrect answer, 1 mark is deducted.

There is no deduction for unattempted questions.
