A gap taken between studying periods or between periods of courses is called a ‘study break’.

Some of the ideas to keep your study breaks productive are listed here:

Our brain gets the  much-needed rest and it stimulates the parts associated with the idle mode.

Frequent short breaks: The breaks that you take in between while studying can be used to track the schedule and how much portion is completed.

This can give the satisfaction of timely completion and also alerts the mind about the remaining part of the study.

If you take a break of 10-15 min in between your study, then spend it on exercising.

Physical exercise: Physical exercise improves blood circulation thus reducing anxiety. But keep them light to catch the breath back after exercising.

Power nap is important: If the study gap is 15-20 min, a power nap is a great idea to improve alertness, productivity & motor skills.

Do not increase the duration of a power nap to more than 30 minutes as it can lead you to wake up dazed.

Meditation is a must: Exercising your mind through meditation helps in lowering anxiety, reducing stress, and increasing self-confidence.

Mind refreshment: A shower, a healthy snack, or a cup of tea/coffee also refreshes your mind & body to increase productivity.

Follow these to stay productive throughout your studies and breaks too!
