How to Find Orthocenter of a Triangle: CBSE Maths Exam Notes
Let us consider a triangle DEF, as shown in the figure below.
- DA, EB and CF are the perpendicular lines drawn from the three vertices D, E and F respectively. - O(x,y) is the orthocentre (intersection point) of the triangle DEF.

Steps to find orthocentre of a triangle:
Using the formula, find the slope of the triangle's sides:
Step 2:
The slope of the altitudes of a triangle will be perpendicular to the slope of the sides of the triangle.
