How Many Questions are There in the NEET Exam?

There will be a total of 200 questions in the NEET exam from Physics, Chemistry and Biology (Botany and Zoology).

The students need not answer all of them. Only 180 questions must be attempted.

Each subject is divided into Section A and Section B with 35 and 15 questions.

All the questions in Section A are mandatory in the NEET exam.

But in Section B, out of 15 questions, just 10 questions have to be attempted.

The remaining five questions need not be attempted and can be considered optional.

For every correct answer, the candidate is awarded 4 marks and for wrong answers, 1 mark is deducted.
