The human body glows by emitting a visible light in extremely small quantities at levels that rise and fall with the day.
All living organisms, including humans, produce and eliminate some degree of light and hence glow. But it is not easy to detect the light.
The visible light emitted from the heat of our body is 1,000 times less intense than the level to which the named human eyes can perceive the light.
This is the reason why we glow more during the day as we burn more energy during the day.
Japan’s scientists chose 5 healthy men and put them in a dark room for 3 days bare-chested for 20 minutes every 3 hours from 10 am to 10 pm.
They kept extremely sensitive cameras to capture every single photon released from the body.
From their experiment, it is concluded that though our body glows throughout the day, it is lowest at 10 am and it is at its peak at 4 pm.
Due to more exposure to sunlight, the melanin on the face’s skin enhances light production due to its fluorescent components.
