Common Mistakes Students Make In CBSE Board Exams

We all know that final exam marks play a vital role in determining your admission to educational institutions or colleges of your choice.

Here are some general mistakes students will make during exams

Before stepping into the exam hall, students should check for their accessories (hall ticket, pen, pencil, ID card, etc.)

Make sure you reach the examination center 20 minutes before and check for your room on the notice board.

After receiving the question paper, first go through the paper for 15 minutes (CBSE gives a grace time of 15 minutes).

Never attempt difficult or uncertain questions first; always begin with simple and well-known questions.

Be cautious about copying data from the question paper to the answer sheet.

First, analyze the answer you are going to write in your mind and then write the points in an organized manner.

Time allotment for each question is very important, make sure you won't exceed the word limit. Never exaggerate your answers; stick to the quality of your answers.

Generally, students bypass UNITS (km, meters, cm, etc) in an exam hurry. Always verify that these details are duly updated.

Students start their exams with good handwriting, but it worsens towards the end. Never make this mistake, as handwriting lends credibility to your answers.

At the end, before submitting your answer sheet, check for roll numbers, spelling mistakes, units, question numbers, etc.
