How Is Nitrous Oxide Harmful To The Environment?

Nitrous oxide is 300 times more powerful than carbon dioxide and it weakens the ozone layer.

The ozone layer protects us from the harmful radiation coming from the sun.

Since the lifespan of the ozone layer is short, reducing the ozone layer could fasten global warming.

If the ozone layer is depleted, there is an increase in UV radiation levels at the Earth's surface sousing damaging to human health.

Hence, nitrous oxide is considered a threat to the environment.
