The overall difficulty level of the Class 10 Social Science board paper was  Easy to Moderate. Some help for the students who are familiar with the NCERT book is that the questions were indirectly or directly based on the NCERT, which brought the level of the questions to the students’ knowledge and skills after they had been prepared for the paper.

Section-Wise Marks Distribution

Section A – MCQs This part consisted of very straightforward questions, mostly from Geography maps, Political Science definitions, and key historical events. Section B – Short Answer Questions Economic and Civic issues’ concepts had to be explained briefly by writing short answers. However, in many cases listing of points was sufficient, and writing long answers was not necessary.

Section C – Concept-Based Questions The aim of these questions was to assess conceptual clarity, mainly from areas such as democracy, resources, and industrial development. Section D – Case Study Questions Analyzing given passage and answering related questions were the requirements of case-study type questions that tested one’s skills at interpreting.

Section E – Long Answer Questions Writing comprehensive answers with main points clearly presented in the form of headings supported with relevant examples was the requirement of these questions.
