The parts of the plant are root, stem, branches, leaves, buds, flowers and fruits.

Bud

A bud is a small and tender structure formed at a plant's axial or terminal portion.

- These buds may develop into either branches, leaves or flowers.  - Buds are formed from a node or a tip of the stem.

Budding

Budding is the process of developing a new bud from the axial or terminal portion of a plant.

Plants produce two types of buds. These include floral buds and vegetative buds.

Floral buds develop into flowers, and vegetative buds develop into leaves or branches.

Floral buds help in reproduction, and vegetative buds help in the growth of the plants.

The reproductive part of a plant that develops into fruit is the flower.

Flowering

The process of producing flowers in plants is known as flowering.

Flowers of  different plants  have different shapes, sizes and colours.

Flowers have male and female reproductive parts which are involved in fertilization.

Flowers turn into fruits after fertilization. Fruits bear seeds that produce new plants.
