Location of Male and Female Gonads in Human Body

The Gonads are the primary reproductive organs in the human body.

The male gonads are found in the Scrotum, while the female gonads are found in the Pelvis.

The gonad in males is named Testicles which are the male sex glands that are part of the reproductive system.

Testicles are placed in a sac called the Scrotum, which is located outside the abdominal cavity.

The purpose of the testis is to regulate sperm production and testosterone secretion in men.

The female gonads are a pair of reproductive glands named Ovaries.

Ovaries have two functions and are placed in the pelvis, one on each side of the uterus.

They are responsible for the production of eggs and female hormones.
