Herbs
Small-sized plants with green and tender stems are called herbs.
Shrubs
Some plants produce branches from the base of the stem. These plants are known as shrubs.
Trees
Some plants are very tall and large. These are known as trees.
Shrubs:
– These are medium
sized plants.
– Stems of these plants are flexible and hard.
Differences Between Shrubs and Trees:

and some are perennial
plants.
All branches form from

Example
:
Oleander,
Japanese maple.
Trees:
– These are tall and large
sized plants.
– The Stems of these
plants are hard and
woody.
