Explain its Characteristics.

Ecological hierarchy means the position of the living organisms on earth.

Ecological Hierarchy

The living organisms and their interactions with their ambient result in categorizing living forms are known as an ecological hierarchy.

Ecological hierarchy is the biological organization, which is a process of systemizing living organisms from uncomplex to the most complex.

It starts from the cellular level, with cells organized to form tissues, tissues organized to form organs, organs organized to form organ systems, and organ systems organized to form an organism.

Ecological hierarchy explains the arrangement of biotic components and their interactions.

The simplest level of the hierarchy is the individual level. But the interactions at the individual level are not considered.

Ecologists found complex methods to explain the relationship between different Organisms.

They are arranged from Smallest to largest. These include organism, population, community, ecosystem, and biosphere.

An ecological hierarchy describes the arrangement of living organisms.

It explains the relationship of organisms to one another.
