Examples of  Biofertilizers are Rhizobium, Bacillus, Penicillium.

They include Nitrogen fixers, Phosphorus moralizers and Phosphorus solubilizers.

Biofertilizers are of three types

1. Biofertilizers increase crop yield. 2. Biofertilizers are useful to maintain soil health and productivity.

Advantages of Biofertilizers

3. These do not have any nutrients like chemical fertilizers.

4. They synthesize nutrients from the environment or soil. 5. They do not cause any pollution. These are completely eco friendly.

6. These are completely farmer-friendly fertilizers.
