Be thorough with the syllabus and the exam pattern.

Be familiar with the marking scheme in order to prepare effectively. There are full, partial, and zero marks concepts in the exam.

Be well aware of each subject's level of difficulty while you study for the JEE and priortise the topics with high weightage.

Give equal focus to all subjects. Divide equal time for all three subjects - Chemistry, Physics and Mathematics as all are equally important.

Solve previous years’ questions and take mock tests to get a clear understanding of exam patterns, levels of difficulty and type of questions asked in the paper.

Do not refer to new books or study any new chapters before the exam.
