Established in 1958, IITB is ranked 3 on NIRF and is one of the second new IITs set up by the government of India and funds from the Soviet Union with the assistance of UNESCO. It offers research, postgraduate, undergraduate degrees in engineering, management, sciences and humanities.
Established in 1933 and ranked 15 on NIRF, this college focuses on the training and research activities in various branches of Chemical Engineering and Technology and Pharmacy. It focuses on various branches of chemical technology and pharmacy and gives extended training to its students for training and placement cell.
Located in South Mumbai, VJTI is an autonomous institution owned by Maharashtra State Government and is ranked 82 on NIRF.
