Students who have secured above 90% aggregate marks in PCB / PCM in Class XII Board Exams are also eligible for this scholarship.
2 Super Scorer 20% This Scholarship on tuition fee will be given to all those students who have secured >90% and =< 95% marks in Science & Mathematics in class IX final / class X* Board Exam. Students who have secured>85% and =<90% aggregate marks in PCB/PCM in Class XII Board Exam are also eligible for this scholarship.
3 Star Scorer 10% This Scholarship on tuition fee will be given to all those students who have secured >= 85% and =< 90% marks in Science & Mathematics in class IX final / class X* Board Exam. Students who have secured >=80% & =<85% aggregate marks in PCB / PCM in Class XII board Exam are also eligible for this scholarship.
*The Scholarship Criteria will be based on last School / Board Exam.
(III) Based on CBSE Board Class X Exam performance where Grade system is applicable (Merit Scholarship)*

Admission cum Scholarship Test (ACST) Fee The Admission cum Scholarship Test fee is ` 500(including Service Tax ). This amount can be paid either by Cash / Credit Card / Debit Card / Bank Draft in favour of ‘Aakash Institute’. The test fee is not refundable under any circumstances.
Note: Maximum scholarship on tuition fee for which a student shall be eligible is 100%.

(a) Scholarship for Ex-Aakashians

 1 Ex-Aakashian (R1) 20% This Scholarship on tuition fee will be given to Ex-Aakashian student who has already taken our Two years classroom course / One year Regular Course at any of our centres/branches of Aakash Institute. The student will have to submit the proof for the same. He/she must have paid full course fee. Left out / Droppers will not be given this benefit.
2 Ex-Aakashian (R2) 15%
of the tuition fee paid by the student in Crash Course
Those students who had joined our Short Term Courses ( Scholars / Crash Course / Test Series) shall be given scholarship on tuition fee paid by them in crash course when they seek admission in our Repeater course (XII passed). Such students should submit the photocopy of fee receipt issued to them at the time of admission in crash course.
3 Ex-Aakashian (DLP) 15%
of the tuition fee paid by the student in Distance Learning Programs (DLP)
This Scholarship on tuition fee will be given to Ex-Aakashian who had joined any of our Distance Learning Programs (DLP). Such students will be given scholarship on the base/tuition fee paid by them for Correspondence Course / Distance Learning Programs.

Students who had taken Aakash Foundations classroom courses are also eligible for this scholarship. They will be given scholarship on tuition fee paid by them in the previous class. The student will have to submit the proof for the same.

Scholarship for Other Categories
# Name Scholarship Criteria
1 Single Parent / Divorcee 5% This Scholarship on tuition fee will be given to those students who have lost their father and their mother is the only single earning member in the family. Proper application and proof in this regard will have to be submitted by the mother. This benefit will be given to the wards of Female Divorcee also (Attach Proof).
2 Siblings 5% This Scholarship on tuition fee will be given to those student Siblings whose brother or sister is currently studying in classroom course with us. In this case, scholarship will be given to the student who is taking admission and not to the already studying in Aakash. However, in case, if two brothers/sisters take admission together at the same time, then they both will get this benefit / advantage.
3 Martyr 100%
on Tuition Fee
This Scholarship on tuition fee will be given to those students who have lost their father/mother during their service either in War, Terrorist Warfare or Govt. Operation. (Attach Proof).

Note: The scholarships of Category-A, B & C avail concession mentioned in Category-B & C only. Scholarship is offered on Tuition Fee only. The scholarships of can be clubbed. However in short term courses (Scholars / Crash Course / Test Series Course), a student can avail concession mentioned in Category-B & C only. Scholarship is offered on Tuition Fee only.

Meaning of Scholarship: Scholarship means Fee Concession; Fee Discount; Fee Waiver
If at any point of time government decides to charge Service Tax on the scholarship/concession amount/fee waiver and in prize money, then the service tax shall be borne by the students.
