Aakash offers admission for Engineering coaching i.e. JEE-Main (AIEEE) and JEE-Advanced (IIT-JEE) aspirants with applicable concession. To avail this concession ranging from 10%-40%, students must participate in the Aakash Admission-cum-Scholarship Test (ACST) organized at its branches and franchise centres.
A student can appear up to two times in ACST for seeking admission in a particular course. If a student has taken admission and paid registration fee, admission fee and 1st installment of the tuition fee, then he/she cannot appear in further ACST to avail any scholarship benefit.
Aakash offers direct admission option for regular, repeater and dropper courses on its centres which is only applicable for 12th passed students. There are two criterias of taking direct admission in Aakash Repeater or Dropper batches:
Students can take direct admission in repeater courses on the basis of percentage of marks secured in Board Exams.
Students can take direct admission in repeater courses with availing scholarship based on performance in competitive exams like JEE (Main) and JEE (Advanced) in Tuition-Fee:
JEE-Main Scorer: (35%) - Students who have secured above 60% in Gen. Category of JEE (Main) and preparing for next year's JEE for improving their rank.
JEE-Main Scorer: (30%) - Students who have secured above 50% in Gen. Category of JEE (Main) and preparing for next year's JEE for improving their rank.
JEE-Main Qualifier: (25%) - Students who have qualified JEE (Main) from General Category and preparing for next year's JEE for improving their rank.
