NATIONAL TALENT SEARCH EXAMINATION (NTSE)

  • Overview
    National Talent Search Examination (NTSE) is a national-level scholarship program. The examination is conducted every year at two levels: Stage-I (State Level) and Stage-II (National Level).
  • Exam Date : 1st/2nd week of Nov 2016* , Stage-II : 2nd week of May 2017*
  • Important Dates
1. Last Date for Submission of Application Form Last week of August, 2016
2. Stage I (State Level) : Examination in States and Union Territories 1st / 2nd week of Nov., 2016
3. Stage II (National Level) : Examination in All States and Union Territories 2nd week of May, 2017
  • Eligibility Criteria
1. Students of Class X studying in recognized schools are eligible to appear for the Stage-I examination, conducted by the States/UTs, in which the schools are located. There is no domicile restriction. For further details please visit: www.ncert.nic.in

The written examination will be in two stages as follows:
The examination will be conducted in three sessions on the same day.

There is negative marking in each paper in Stage-II. For each wrong answer 1/3 marks will be deducted. No marks will be deducted for unattempted questions
