  • Overview
    The Government of National Capital Territory of Delhi established its first University with the name Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University under the University Act 1998. The Indraprasth University is accredited by NAAC and given ‘A’ grade. It imparts education in wide array of disciplines. It is a teaching and affiliating University with the explicit objective of facilitating and promoting studies, research and extension work in emerging areas of higher education with focus on professional education like - engineering, technology, management studies, medicine, pharmacy, nursing, education, law, etc. Admission into the GGSIPU is done on the basis of the merit obtained by the candidate in the Common Entrance Test (CET).

  • Eligibility Criteria
1. Candidate should be an Indian citizen. Non-Resident Indians and Foreign Nationals are not eligible.
2. Candidate should not be less than 17 (Seventeen) years as on the 31st December, 2016.
3. B.Tech. CET Code – 131: Candidate must have passed in 12th Class of 10+2 pattern of CBSE or equivalent with a minimum aggregate of 55% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics provided the candidate has passed in each subject separately. Candidate must additionally have passed English as a subject of study (core/ elective/ functional) in the qualifying examination
4. B.Tech. (BioTechnology) CET Code – 130: Candidate must have passed in 12th Class of 10+2 pattern of CBSE or equivalent with a minimum aggregate of 55% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Biology/Biotechnology provided the candidate has passed in each subject separately. Candidate must additionally have passed English as a subject of study (core/ elective/ functional) in the qualifying examination.
