Aakash National Talent Hunt Exam 2012
In sync with its vision to become a preeminent educational group that works towards the overall advancement of the society by enabling the brightest minds of the country to achieve what they desire to and what they deserve to, Aakash conducts Aakash National Talent Hunt Exam (ANTHE) every year. The ANTHE 2011 saw over 48000 Class X studying students registering for it. The objective of the examination is to enable the most deserving students to get to their goal of becoming an engineer or a doctor by providing them with free* coaching worth multiple of crores.
Eligibility for ANTHE:
ANTHE selects 800 students from class X to give them this once in a lifetime opportunity. These students will get free* coaching from Aakash worth Rs. 14 crores. The examination is held in two stages at various centres across the nation. (*Check with Examination Scholarship Scheme table for details.)

The result shall be displayed on our website, www.aakash.ac.in, mentioning the names of Top 3200 students who shall qualify to appear in Stage -II Exam. Out of 3200 selected students 75% seats ( i.e., 2400 seats) shall be for students who have opted for Engineering stream and 25% (i.e., 800 seats) will be for students who opted for Medical stream . A student must score at least 60% marks in Stage-I, in addition to his/her ranking in Top 3200, in order to qualify to appear for Stage-II. However, if the number of students (securing 60% marks or more) in Stage-I is less than 3200, in such a situation the list will be taken out for only those students who fulfill the eligibility criteria of 60% marks or more and not for 3200 students.

The result shall be displayed on our website, www.aakash.ac.in, mentioning the names of 800 students who shall be offered free* Two Years Classroom Coaching at any Centre of Aakash - All Over India. To qualify for the Top-800 seats, a student must scored at least 60% marks in Stage-II exam, in addition to his/her ranking in Top 800 selected students, 75% seats (i.e., 600 seats) shall be for students who have opted for engineering stream and 25% seats (i.e., 200 seats) will be for students who have opted for medical stream.
However, if the number of students (securing 60% marks or more) in Stage-II is less than 800, in such a situation the list will be taken out for only those students who fulfill the eligibility criteria of 60% marks or more and not for 800 students.
Please note that, if the number of qualified students in ANTHE-II is less than 800, then the distribution of seats shall be 75% for Engg. & 25% for Medical aspirants of actual qualified students. (For example if only 600 students qualified in Stage-II, then the freeship will be given to 450 students for Engg. & 150 students for Medical).

Separate merit list will be prepared for Medical and Engineering aspirants. In the merit list, Top 200 Ranking students will be selected from Medical aspirants and Top 600 Ranking students will be selected from Engineering aspirants.
Note: Selected candidates will be provided classroom coaching as per the choice of their study centre (at existing Aakash centres only) but if a student wants to change the study centre, the written permission for the same has to be taken from the Managing Director.

Exam Fee for ANTHE:
Approx. Rs. 300/- per student. (Enrollment Forms can also be accepted after due date (i.e., 24th Nov, 2012 ) with a late fee of Rs. 50/-. No forms will be accepted after 28th November, 2012. )

Kindly fill the enclosed registration form and send along with your class IX marksheet, 4 passport size photographs and demand draft of Rs. 300 in favour of ‘Aakash Institute’. |

You shall be sent an Admit Card for appearing in Stage – I of ANTHE mentioning your Roll No. and venue for appearing in the test. |

3. |
The students who will qualify the Stage – I of ANTHE shall be issued a fresh Admit Card mentioning a new Roll No. and Venue for appearing in the ANTHE Stage – II. |

The tests would be conducted on OMR (Optical Mark Reader) sheets, which shall be provided to you at the Test Centre. |
